We had been talking about getting a second puppy, but I thought that it would be too much right now. When I was leaving the Town of Loomis Earth Day celebration, though, the dog rescue was just setting up. Thy had two little lab puppies, and I knew I was a goner. I called up Michael, and he brought over Penelope to take a look. Phoebe immediately stood out to us, and we decided to add her to our family. She was about 12 weeks when we got her (putting her exactly 6 months younger than Penelope, with a birthday of approximately February 12, 2010), and such a little rolly-poly thing. She loves to howl when she is lonely, and instead of whining, she chirps like a bird when she wants attention. It is pretty adorable. And her ears have started sticking up (the German Shepherd in her). Officially the cutest thing I've seen ALL DAY (and that includes a Nutella-smeared Camryn, who, come to think of it, wasn't all that cute, seeing as I had to clean her up)!!!

(And dang you, Michael, for being so accommodating--Karl won't even consider my requests for, say, a new digital camera or a second set of sheets for our bed!!! Teach him the ways of the accommodating husband, I beg you!)
I was so excited to see a new post! I loved the video, even if it made me a little seasick to watch it.
Phoebe is indeed so cute. But, me thinks, she looks potentially BIG. You guys are good adoptive parents. I can hardly wait to meet Penny and Phoebs!!
You guys gotta stop using these cute names for your pets. Funny enough both were names I thought of we were to have a girl. She is a cute dog. I had kinda hoped you'd be posting about something else as well... ahem. :D
Hey, Sarah--in response to your post on MY blog, I'm so excited to see you!!! One thing: if you wanted, you could extend your departure from Utah by a few hours, because we're blessing baby #2 on August 8th in our ward (our sacrament meeting is at 12:30 pm). If you and Michael were able to attend, we'd be thrilled to have you there!
